Knowledge Sense, a Tokyo-based AI provider led by CEO Atsushi Kadowaki, announced that it will roll out the beta version of its secure document-based 'Notebook' feature for its corporate AI agent 'ChatSense' in June 2026. This feature allows users to add materials such as PDF and Office files as sources to ask questions, summarize, and generate outputs like briefings and slides. While standard chats and RAG functions are designed for either general query-based dialogue or organization-wide knowledge bases, they are not optimized for individuals to quickly query local files. The Notebook feature addresses this by providing dedicated dialogue environments for specific document sets. ChatSense is a secure, cost-effective ChatGPT-based service designed to prevent AI learning from chat data. It is currently used by over 500 major companies, including Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime listed corporations. Interested users can apply for beta access through the contact page.
