Background of the Release – "We want to confirm which document the AI's answer is based on."

Generative AI, including ChatGPT, is being adopted by many corporations to improve operational efficiency and service quality. Notebook AI within ChatSense has expanded the RAG experience, enabling question answering based on documents in a secure environment for corporations. In response to these requests, we have released a feature today that explicitly highlights the relevant sections of the source documents referenced by Notebook AI's answers. Users can now visually confirm the location of the source documents along with the AI's answer, enabling safer utilization of internal knowledge even in tasks where verifying the basis of information is critical, such as with contracts, proposals, and internal regulations.

For answers generated by Notebook AI, the relevant parts of the source documents that formed the basis of the answer will be explicitly highlighted within the document. Users can visually confirm "which part of which document the answer is based on" along with the answer itself.

2. For tasks where verifying the basis is crucial, such as with contracts, proposals, and internal regulations

Quickly verify the basis of AI answers in scenarios involving documents directly linked to business decisions, such as contract reviews, confirmation of proposal content, and referencing internal regulations or manuals. This makes it easier to reflect the AI's answers in business operations after confirming their validity against the source material.

3. Available within the secure corporate plan

This feature is available within Knowledge Sense's corporate plan. Within the secure environment provided by ChatSense, users can cross-reference AI answers with their sources without exposing the content of internal documents externally.
