Kinki Nippon Tourist Okinawa Invites Subgrantees for FY2026 Okinawa Tourism Project

Kinki Nippon Tourist Okinawa Co., Ltd. has been selected as the administrative body for the Cabinet Office's FY2026 'Project to Support the Creation of New Okinawa Tourism Services' and is inviting applications from indirect subsidy operators (individuals, private companies, and organizations). Okinawa tourism faces challenges such as low tourist spending, short stays, and labor shortages. To address these, the project supports new tourism services leveraging Okinawa's nature/culture and advanced DX trials. As the administrator, KNT Okinawa provides two main support features: 1) One-on-one tailored support, assigning a dedicated coordinator to each operator to assist from planning and implementation to commercialization and sales channel development. 2) Utilizing the KNT-CT Holdings Group's national network for robust sales channel development, tourism website promotion, and marketing outside Okinawa.
