≪About TBS Radio's 'OVER THE SUN'≫

'OVER THE SUN' is a highly popular podcast hosted by Jane Su and Mika Horii, broadcast by TBS Radio. New episodes are released every Friday at 5 PM, centered around the concept of the two hosts and their listeners journeying together 'OVER to the other side of the sun'. Their natural, engaging conversations often extend from the planned 30 minutes to nearly an hour, creating a free-spirited and authentic atmosphere that deeply resonates with listeners. The show's audience, affectionately called 'Gojokai members' (mutual aid association members), forms a warm community that shares the ups and downs of daily life.

This project is an omnibus-style manga initiative born from the worldview of 'OVER THE SUN' and the shared empathy of its listeners. Five mangaka who are also listeners—Naoiko Matsuda, Tsunami Umino, Ai Kozaki, Yoko Nemuyoko, and Yoko Fujimi—have joined the project to depict what 'OVER THE SUN' has delivered to its audience through the fresh medium of manga, each from their own unique perspective.

Comment from Jane Su

'From school sports days to the Budokan, OVER THE SUN always takes me, Mika, and our Gojokai members to places far beyond imagination. And yet, such a miracle has happened! Now, the protagonists are all of you, our Gojokai members. Enjoy to your heart's content! And thank you so much to the mangaka who accepted this project—Tsunami Umino, Ai Kozaki, Yoko Nemuyoko, Yoko Fujimi, and Naoiko Matsuda!'

Comment from Mika Horii

'The day I messed up, the day my heart came undone.

The ones turning our slightly messy everyday lives into stories are those amazing mangaka!

Masterful pens now dwell in our chaotic lives.

A life companion book that transforms 'Is it just me?' into 'It's us!'
