CocoroMil, a medical tech startup specializing in the development and sales of electrocardiographs, hosted a demo booth for its 'Home Heart Dock pro' long-term ECG testing at Aeon Mall Hamamatsu Ichino.

The booth featured demonstrations allowing visitors to monitor their heart activity in real-time. Here are the results from the participant survey (13 respondents):

Survey Highlights - **Increased Health Awareness**: 92.3% reported that their health awareness had increased. - **Strong Intent to Seek Treatment**: 92.3% stated they would 'definitely' or 'probably' seek medical consultation if an abnormality were found. - **Superior Convenience**: 76.9% felt that at-home testing was easier than traditional hospital visits. - **High Continued Usage Intent**: 92.3% expressed a positive intent to use the service regularly.

Challenges for Social Implementation The results indicate that a system creating testing opportunities along daily routes in retail facilities and allowing easy measurement at home strongly promotes preventive behavior among busy professionals. However, the following challenges remain: - **Price Acceptance**: About 70% of respondents hope for an out-of-pocket cost of 5,000 yen or less; a structure to lower financial burdens is essential. - **Usability Improvements**: Further improvements in usability, including smartphone app interactions and electrode adhesion, are required.

This project aims to build a cycle of early detection and early treatment by seamlessly connecting screening in retail facilities to local core hospitals.
