Komehyo Holdings, with the vision of turning 'Relay Use' from a concept into a culture, announced that its four BtoB auction businesses (KOMEHYO Auction, JBA, RK Auction, and Rs-Auction) achieved an annual GMV of 106.9 billion yen for the fiscal year ending March 2026, surpassing the 100 billion yen milestone for the first time. The auction GMV for fiscal 2025 increased by 153% year-on-year, making it one of the largest in the domestic reuse auction market. This growth is attributed to the addition of 'RK Auction' and 'Rs-Auction' to the group in 2024, alongside the steady growth of 'KOMEHYO Auction' and 'JBA'. Junji Segawa, President of Reuse Keizai Shimbun, noted that the auction market serves as vital infrastructure for enhancing liquidity and capital efficiency, playing an essential role in price formation and authentication. The Komehyo Group leverages its four distinct auction platforms and a hybrid model combining online and real-life auctions to meet the diverse needs of reuse businesses. Furthermore, the group ensures high reliability through an inspection system combining skilled appraisers and AI-driven authentication. Moving forward, the company aims to contribute to the healthy development of the reuse market by promoting DX and strengthening partnerships.
