Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. announces that starting with students enrolling in the 2027 academic year, KONAMI eSports Academy will add a new "Streamer Class" alongside its existing "Pro Gamer Class" and "Comprehensive eSports Class." (*1)

The newly established "Streamer Class" will provide a curriculum for students to systematically learn professional skills aimed at careers in fields such as eSports, game streaming, broadcasting, and video editing. Additionally, the "Joint Tryout" (*2), which has successfully produced many professional gamer trainees, will now include a "Streamer Category" in addition to the existing "Player Category" and "Specialist Category." This initiative supports students in pursuing diverse career paths, including streamers, broadcast directors, and eSports casters, beyond just becoming professional gamers.

At the open school event on Wednesday, April 29 (national holiday), popular FORTNITE streamer Mao, affiliated with Horipro Digital Entertainment, is scheduled to visit. We invite anyone interested in eSports or streaming to take this opportunity to participate.

*1 Students can select their class as an elective starting in their second year, beginning with the April 2027 intake.

*2 An annual in-house tryout held by KONAMI eSports Academy every February, aimed at securing spots on eSports teams.
