A Halloween concert hosted by Eiji Wentz and performed by a full orchestra will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Tokyo International Forum Hall C. Enjoy a thrilling program of classical masterpieces, film scores, and musical theater music, all themed around the Halloween spirit, delivered with lively commentary and singing by Wentz.
Two concerts will be held on the same day. The 16:00 performance, titled 'Eiji Wentz's Not-So-Scary Halloween Classics,' offers a luxurious experience filled with rich orchestral music. Guest Hidetoshi Shimada, famous for ghost stories and palm reading, joins for fun, not-so-scary talks, while the orchestra performs charming pieces with a bright yet slightly dark flair in powerful arrangements.
The 13:00 performance, 'One-Hour Halloween Classics with Eiji Wentz,' is a special selection ideal for first-time classical listeners, families, and those attending with children. Experience a tightly packed, intense hour of music without intermission.
This is a rare opportunity to enjoy the beloved children's song 'Obake Nante Nai Sa' performed by orchestra and voice, along with other Halloween-themed fantasy classics such as 'Danse Macabre,' 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice,' 'Harry Potter,' and 'The Phantom of the Opera.' Don’t miss this magical musical journey, perfect for both adults and children, celebrating the unique spirit of Halloween.
