KTX Archilab Principal Matsumoto's Interview and 'Yokohama Yumirai Pediatric & Orthodontic Dental Clinic' Featured in Monthly Shōten Kenchiku April Issue

The April issue of Monthly Shōten Kenchiku features an interview with Tetsuya Matsumoto, principal of KTX Archilab (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Tetsuya Matsumoto), and the 'Yokohama Yumirai Pediatric & Orthodontic Dental Clinic' designed by KTX Archilab. The special feature 'Architectural Firm Management: What to do now?!' introduces hints for working styles and firm management through surveys, interviews, and round-table discussions. Matsumoto spoke on the theme of 'Chapter.3 Client Relationship: How to meet clients & build trust.' The 'Yokohama Yumirai Pediatric & Orthodontic Dental Clinic' was also featured as a clinic design case study in the same April issue's industry special. The design concept for the clinic was 'the world's most exciting dentist, where children look forward to going to the dental clinic.' Tetsuya Matsumoto, who leads KTX Archilab, is ranked 1st in Japan in the Italy DAC ranking. Matsumoto states that space design is a business tool, emphasizing that the spaces he creates for commercial architecture and environments are ultimately tools for clients to generate revenue. He believes that the space itself must have a strong impact to open the door to people's subconscious.
