K Village Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Motonari Kuwahara), which operates one of Japan's largest Korean language schools, is pleased to announce the opening of its 32nd school, 'K Village Korean Kashiwa Station Branch,' on Monday, June 1, 2026. With the opening of the Kashiwa Station Branch, K Village now has a three-school structure in the Chiba area, following the Funabashi and Chiba Station branches, creating a more accessible environment for many students. We will continue to provide an environment where those living, working, or studying in Chiba Prefecture can learn Korean in a more familiar location. The new Kashiwa Station Branch is located at Kashiwa Station, a major terminal in northwestern Chiba Prefecture served by the JR Joban Line and the Tobu Urban Park Line. The area around Kashiwa Station is often called the 'Shibuya of the East' and is a highly convenient area with commercial facilities, restaurants, and offices directly connected to the station. It is easy to stop by on the way home from work or school, or while shopping, and can be used by a wide range of age groups. The opening was also prompted by numerous requests from students at existing schools who said, 'We want a school in Kashiwa City.' We have already received many applications for trial lessons before the opening, reaffirming the high level of interest in Korean language learning in the Chiba area. K Village Korean will continue to strive to create an environment where everyone in the Chiba area can enjoy learning Korean more closely. We offer a reasonable fee structure starting from 550 yen (tax included) per lesson in a prime location near Kashiwa Station, allowing students to easily take practical lessons from native instructors.
