This product is an environmentally conscious fuel that offsets greenhouse gas emissions generated from fuel combustion through the use of J-Credits.

Background of Launch

To provide environmentally friendly products, Kygnus conducted pilot programs for carbon offset fuel in the Tokai region (※1) and Kyushu region (※2) in 2025. Based on the successful pilot results, the company determined that the product contributes to both environmental and regional sustainability, and has decided to add it to its product lineup. Sales will target customers such as factories and transportation companies that use fuel oil.

Additionally, customers can choose from offset rates of 100%, 50%, or 10% for the targeted fuel oils. Kygnus offers a range of options to meet diverse customer needs and sustainability goals.

Third-Party Verification

Kygnus has obtained third-party assurance for the overall validity of this product's mechanism from Socotec Certification Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Executive Officer and President: Seigo Niba | hereinafter "Socotec"). Customers using Kygnus Carbon Offset Fuel will receive a supply certificate verified by Socotec.
