Kyoto Seika University (located in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto City; President: Shun Kyo) will hold a group exhibition titled "Somaru" by seven graduates of the Textile major at the Faculty of Arts, who continue to create works using "dyeing" as their form of expression, at Gallery Terra-S on the campus.

"Kyoto Seika University Gallery Terra-S" is a university gallery operated by Kyoto Seika University. It holds planned exhibitions and application-based exhibitions by current students, graduates, faculty, and staff, and is open not only to the university community but also to the general public.

In the exhibition "Somaru," works that incorporate contemporary expressions into traditional techniques such as "batik dyeing," "yuzen dyeing," and "stencil dyeing" will be introduced. Through the works, visitors can experience the depth and breadth of Japanese dyeing and weaving culture. Please come and see the dyeing expressions where tradition and modernity intersect.
