KAWAGOE BC Signs Short-Term Player Contract with Haruto Watashiki

KAWAGOE BC is pleased to announce that we have signed a new short-term player contract with Haruto Watashiki for the 2026-27 season. Watashiki, born in 1999 in Okinawa Prefecture, plays the PG position. He has previous experience playing for teams such as the Tokyo Hachioji Bee Trains (B-League). Watashiki commented, 'I was strongly attracted to the enthusiasm and direction of KAWAGOE BC. They supported my desire to continue challenging myself in the B-League as a player, and I decided to fight this off-season with KAWAGOE BC.' General Manager Hamada expressed his expectations, saying, 'Welcoming a player with experience in the top league will be a big plus for both the team and the player.'
