June 16th is 'Wagashi Day'! 'EXPO Wagashi Meguri' Event

Mitsui Fudosan Retail Management Co., Ltd., which operates the Mitsui Shopping Park Lalaport EXPOCITY, will host the 'EXPO Wagashi Meguri' event at the Hikari-no-Hiroba space for three days from June 12 to June 14, ahead of 'Wagashi Day' on June 16th. Over 250 types of Japanese sweets from across the country will be gathered at the venue.

The venue will offer a diverse selection of regional delicacies and Japanese sweets. Highlights include items that have won the Minister for Foreign Affairs Award at the National Confectionery Expo. The event will also feature Wagashi-making workshops by established shops, and sales of Japanese tea and coffee that pair well with sweets, including brands like Fukujuen and TSUJIMOTO coffee.

Furthermore, shoppers who present a same-day receipt for purchases totaling 2,000 yen (including tax, can be combined) within Lalaport EXPOCITY can participate in the 'Wagashi Lottery.' Additionally, the first 100 people each day who show the screen following the official Lalaport EXPOCITY Instagram account will receive a Japanese tea bag.
