Incubation Office 'TOKIZA' Opens April 6! Free Open Day & Public YouTube Recording to be Held

On the opening day, TOKIZA will be open to the public for free, and a public recording for a YouTube channel will be held.

Incubation Office 'TOKIZA' 'TOKIZA' is an incubation office where people can connect, learn, and take on new challenges.

It features community functions for casual interaction with peers and flexible spaces that can be used as a base of operations. Regular events such as seminars and workshops are also planned.

We opened this facility to create opportunities for 'people who want to start something' to take a step forward, through an environment where people, place, and learning intersect.

The first floor is a community floor. It is a hub for challengers to drop by with a coffee, chat, and inspire one another. The second floor is a work floor with dedicated desks for focusing on business or creative work, available for both individuals and teams.

The community floor will be available by reservation from April 7. Applications for tenancy on the work floor will open soon.

No reservation is required, and admission is completely free for the day. The 2F work floor will also be open, so please come and experience the atmosphere of TOKIZA.

During the public recording of TOKIZA Guild, LeafWorks CEO Sawa and Ryoma Nakano, representative of 'Shiga to Sekai,' will tackle challenges presented by guests, seeking solutions from an entrepreneurial perspective.

Report on Pre-Opening Event Prior to the official opening, a TOKIZA open event was held on March 28.

On that day, 52 people, including supporters from our crowdfunding campaign, attended. After touring TOKIZA, they moved to LeafWorks' new head office for a talk session and networking event.

Under the theme of 'A Vision for Creating Local x Zebra Companies,' the talk session featured LeafWorks CEO Sawa, Ryoma Nakano of 'Shiga to Sekai,' and Yuri Tamaoka of 'Zebra and Company.' They held a cross-talk session aimed at realizing 'Shi-Zebra,' a localized version of the local zebra concept for Shiga.

The networking event following the talk session saw lively exchanges of ideas and concluded as a great success.

Comment from LeafWorks CEO Kenta Sawa TOKIZA's crowdfunding campaign reached its goal on the first day and ultimately received 556,000 yen from 51 supporters, achieving 278% of its target.

With so many people attending the open event, I feel that the challenge of TOKIZA has become a 'project built by everyone.'

TOKIZA is a place where challenges are continually born. Someone takes a step forward, someone else is inspired by it, and another new challenge is born. We want to make such a chain of events a common occurrence.
