LG Electronics Japan Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Sung-Joo Son, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) has decided to launch the 31.5-inch 4K resolution gaming monitor "32GX870B-B" equipped with LG's latest OLED panel (Tandem OLED), and the 44.5-inch 5K2K resolution OLED gaming monitor "45GX950B-B", and will begin pre-orders today, May 1, 2026 (Friday).
Our company offers a diverse lineup of monitors with varying panel specifications, screen sizes, and resolutions. Among them, OLED monitors are highly acclaimed for their characteristic deep black expression, rich color reproduction, and fast response speed, making game play and video/image editing work even more comfortable. In 2025, we achieved the No. 1 position in domestic OLED monitor shipments (※1).
Both models to be released this time are equipped with AI functions that improve video and audio performance. AI functions such as "AI Upscaling," where the monitor's built-in processor upscales low-resolution content to high resolution, "AI Sound," where AI optimizes audio according to the content, and "AI Scene Optimization," where AI recognizes content and optimizes display, create an immersive gaming experience.
Furthermore, the "32GX870B-B" is equipped with LG's latest OLED panel (Tandem OLED), which reduces power consumption compared to conventional panels while improving brightness and color reproducibility, enabling stunning color expression. It covers 99.5% (standard value) of the "DCI-P3" color gamut for digital cinema, and combined with the excellent black reproduction unique to OLED and a high peak brightness of 1500 cd/㎡ (APL 1.5% standard value), it achieves unparalleled contrast. LG's latest OLED panel enhances immersion in the gaming world.
On the other hand, the "45GX950B-B" is a model that incorporates the aforementioned AI functions into the popular 44.5-inch 5K2K (5120×2160) resolution curved 21:9 ultrawide OLED gaming monitor released last year. The OLED panel, which adopts high-brightness technology "Micro Lens Array (MLA)," achieves a peak brightness of 1300 cd/㎡ (APL 1.5% standard value). Black shadows are expressed darker, bright lights brighter, and colors are expressed vividly, allowing the world of beautiful graphic games to be realistically displayed.

Both models are equipped with the following AI functions to support a more immersive gaming experience.

The monitor's built-in processor analyzes video signals in real-time and upscales low-resolution content to high-definition 5K2K or 4K resolution (※2).
(2) AI Sound:
AI separates audio, sound effects, and BGM according to the content and optimizes the sound. For example, it performs sound correction according to the scene, such as clearly delivering voices during intense gunfights or footsteps approaching in the game.
(3) AI Scene Optimization:
AI recognizes the displayed content, such as games, sports, animations, and documents, and automatically adjusts it to optimize the display.
