Liberta Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Toru Sato, hereinafter "Liberta") and Demae-can Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and President: Satoshi Yano, hereinafter "Demae-can") will conduct a joint social experiment with 100 Demae-can delivery personnel (including 10 employed by partner stores) from Friday, July 3, 2026, to Friday, July 31, 2026.
In recent years, Japan has experienced record-breaking heatwaves, making heat countermeasures for those working outdoors for extended periods a critical issue that companies and society as a whole must address. In particular, delivery personnel who support people's lives work in harsh midsummer heat, increasing interest in heatstroke prevention measures and the creation of comfortable working environments. Against this social backdrop, Liberta and Demae-can will conduct a joint social experiment, using the midsummer delivery environment as a verification field, with the cooperation of 100 delivery personnel.
In this social experiment, participants will wear "FREEZETECH Ice-Charge α," a cooling wear brand developed by Liberta, and their comfort and fit in the midsummer work environment will be verified through actual delivery tasks.
FREEZETECH Ice-Charge α is functional wear equipped with cooling technology that "turns sweat into coldness," generating a cooling sensation in response to sweat and moisture. Its special cooling print technology allows users to feel a cooling sensation with every bead of sweat, supporting outdoor activities during the summer. After the experiment, a questionnaire survey will be conducted among the 100 participating delivery personnel to collect and analyze their real-world feedback on their perceived comfort, satisfaction, and areas for improvement, which can only be obtained from the field. This joint social experiment is an initiative aimed at listening to the voices of those working in extreme heat, utilizing their insights for future product development and quality improvement, and contributing to heatstroke prevention measures and the improvement of working environments for those who work outdoors.
Through this joint social experiment, Liberta and Demae-can will widely disseminate the insights gained to society and, transcending corporate boundaries, will address the social issue of heat countermeasures and lead to new initiatives to support those working outdoors.

What the Joint Social Experiment Aims to Achieve
This joint social experiment aims not for companies to unilaterally promote the value of their products, but to face challenges together with those who actually work in extreme heat and to return their voices to society. Each voice from the 100 delivery personnel is valuable insight gained from the front lines of extreme heat. Liberta and Demae-can will utilize these insights not only for future product development but also for creating an environment where outdoor workers can work more safely and comfortably, contributing to the solution of the social issue of heatstroke prevention from a corporate standpoint.
