LIFULL ArchiTech Co., Ltd., a group company of LIFULL Co., Ltd., announced that it entered into a business partnership on April 1, 2026, with Tomas Engineering (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Tomas Engineering'), a company specializing in high-quality industrial tents, to facilitate the full-scale deployment of 'Instant House' in Thailand.

Through this partnership, the companies will build a comprehensive system for local production, sales, and installation to meet diverse needs in Thailand, ranging from high-quality glamping facility installations in the tourism sector to environmental improvements in disaster-stricken areas and refugee camps.

Background: Expanding Tourism Market and Need for Disaster Recovery Support in Thailand In recent years, the outdoor leisure market in Thailand has been expanding rapidly, and glamping has become a noteworthy resort style, especially post-pandemic. However, while expectations for the tourism industry are high, operators face barriers such as the burden of large-scale construction costs and the difficulty of construction in nature-rich resort areas, leaving a gap in the availability of high-quality accommodation.

Furthermore, in disaster-prone Thailand, there is an urgent need for housing improvement and recovery support for people who have lost their businesses and homes to flooding or those forced to live in harsh communal conditions.

Effectiveness and Problem Solving with 'Instant House' 'Instant House' is a structure created by spraying insulation from the inside while inflating a tent sheet with air. Its simple construction method allows it to be set up in just a few hours per unit, enabling low-initial-cost installation even in locations where long-term construction or the delivery of large materials is difficult. It offers excellent thermal insulation, soundproofing, and durability, along with seismic (Note 1) and wind (Note 2) resistance. Therefore, it can be used not only for accommodation, workspaces, and fitness centers but also as living spaces in disaster zones or refugee camps, medical triage rooms at evacuation centers, rest areas for communities or children, and retail shops for business recovery. Due to its characteristic of being 'cool in summer and warm in winter' in any natural environment, it allows occupants to spend time comfortably without using large amounts of energy for air conditioning, even in Thailand's harsh hot weather, thereby reducing running costs for operators.

Note 1: Does not collapse under earthquakes up to intensity 6+ (JMA seismic intensity scale). Importance factor approx. 1.0 (when converted to building standards). Note 2: Roughness category II level. Withstands wind speeds of approx. 80 m/s when the surroundings of the Instant House are fixed to the ground at 10 cm pitch.

Collaborative Initiatives with Tomas Engineering Tomas Engineering is one of the few companies in Thailand engaged in full-scale industrial tent business, possessing high quality, safety, technology, and know-how in tent manufacturing. This enables the establishment of a speedy supply system that maintains high quality while keeping costs low for Instant House. Based on this partnership, LIFULL ArchiTech will provide the technical know-how cultivated in Japan to Tomas Engineering, while leveraging Tomas Engineering's strengths in tent manufacturing and material procurement to advance business development locally in Thailand.

Moving forward, in addition to selling and installing high-value-added glamping houses for tourism operators, the companies aim to provide living spaces in collaboration with Thai government agencies and local municipalities for disaster relief and humanitarian purposes.
