Liquor Mountain Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kyoto, President: Kei Ito), which operates 204 specialty liquor stores nationwide, will launch the 'Single Malt Nagahama Mon-Perat Reserve Selection,' a limited-edition whisky developed in collaboration with the Nagahama Distillery (Shiga Prefecture), on Friday, May 1, 2026, at all Liquor Mountain stores and its online shop in limited quantities.

Background and Story: A Tale of Trust and Maturation Starting from New Make The core of this product is 'new make' spirit purchased by Liquor Mountain during the early days of Nagahama Distillery's operation, with the future intention of creating a single malt. After years of slow maturation in Nagahama, Shiga, the spirit gained a mellow character and was specially blended for our company by the distillery's blender, Mr. Yaku. The key malt includes spirits matured in red wine casks from 'Chateau Mont-Perat,' as well as spirits that underwent finishing in the same casks. By vatting these with carefully selected bourbon cask spirits, a one-of-a-kind single malt worthy of the name 'Reserve' was born.
