Link Japan Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shinichi Kawachiyasu; hereinafter referred to as "our company"), a developer and provider of home IoT platforms, announced that Tokyo Sekisui Heim Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Jun Oda; hereinafter referred to as "Tokyo Sekisui Heim") will standardize our smart home integration app "HomeLink" in all of its newly built detached houses.
The target properties will be equipped with our smart home service "eLife," and by using the "HomeLink" app, remote control of home appliances and equipment will be possible.
Our company will continue to propose the utilization of the latest IoT technology to contribute to high-value-added housing with a higher level of comfort, security, and convenience than ever before.
Features of this Collaboration
The target properties are all new detached houses ordered by Tokyo Sekisui Heim from April 2026 onwards in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, and Yamanashi prefectures. Our smart remote control "eRemote AC" will be standard in the rooms.
"eRemote AC" allows users to control infrared remote-controlled appliances from their smartphones. For example, you can start the air conditioner from the "HomeLink" app on your way home, or automatically adjust the indoor environment based on your preferences, such as "turn on the air conditioning when the room temperature reaches 30 degrees Celsius."
It also features a built-in current sensor that automatically calculates electricity costs from the power consumption of connected air conditioners, naturally encouraging energy-saving behavior in daily life.
In addition to smart remote controls, the "eLife" service offers a wide range of optional devices to meet various living needs, and the "HomeLink" app also features diverse integrations with services such as house cleaning and home care.
Homeowners can freely customize their smart homes to be more convenient and suited to their lifestyles as their needs change.
Main Smart Home Functions to be Introduced
Future Development
Our company will continue to prepare a service infrastructure that looks ahead to future functional expansions and housing updates in the smart home domain.
What is the IoT Smart Home Integration App "HomeLink"?
"HomeLink" is a smart home integration app that allows for intuitive management and operation of the entire home.
It can link not only Link Japan's own products but also many third-party products and services to the home, contributing to overcoming the major challenge in smart home adoption: "apps are fragmented and difficult to use due to different manufacturers and products."
"HomeLink" allows for a variety of automation settings, such as "turn on lights when approaching home," "turn on air conditioner when room temperature reaches 30 degrees Celsius," and "turn on humidifier when humidity drops to 50%."
Furthermore, with its sophisticated and easy-to-understand operation screen, anyone from the elderly to children can use it easily.
