Linksenpai Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shiori Yoshida), which operates "IB Academy," an online tutoring service specializing in the International Baccalaureate (IB), has released an interview video on YouTube with students who were accepted into the International Baccalaureate (IB) Course at the Tokyo Metropolitan High School of International Culture (hereinafter referred to as "Tokyo Metropolitan International High School").

The IB Course at Tokyo Metropolitan International High School is one of Tokyo's most challenging entrance exams, with a recruitment quota of 20 students and a competition rate of 4-6 times. Despite requiring different preparation strategies than general high school entrance exams, there have been few opportunities to hear directly from students who have actually passed about how they prepared. This time, we directly interviewed students who prepared for the exam with IB Academy and were accepted into the IB Course at Tokyo Metropolitan International High School. Introduction of Successful Students

This student is a returnee who attended a local school in California for six years. Initially, they struggled with mathematics due to differences between the Japanese and US curricula, but after enrolling in August, they rebuilt their foundation from scratch and reached a 70% score on past exams. Starting in December, they also prepared for interviews and English essays concurrently. In the actual exam, they managed to answer unexpected questions improvisationally and achieved acceptance.
