New Product Launch: "CHARMY Krista Pre-wash Foaming Spray" for Dishwashers

Lion Corporation (President and Representative Director, CEO: Masayuki Takeomori) will launch "CHARMY Krista Pre-wash Foaming Spray," Japan's first (※1) dishwasher-specific pre-wash product that eliminates the need for both scrubbing and rinsing before loading into the dishwasher. This new product will be available nationwide starting September 9, 2026 (Wed.). It proposes a new habit of simplifying the troublesome pre-wash process before using a dishwasher to simply "spray on dishes and put them directly into the dishwasher."

1. Purpose of Launch

The "CHARMY" brand is committed to creating habits that make dishwashing easier through products like the dish soap "Magica" and the dishwasher detergent "Krista."

Dishwashers have become more widespread in recent years due to advancements in functionality, with a penetration rate of approximately 30% (※2) as of 2024. While the need to reduce the effort of dishwashing is increasing, 75% of dishwasher users (※3) perform pre-wash before loading dishes. Among these, pre-wash processes involving scrubbing and rinsing with sponges and detergents are time-consuming, and 68% of those who pre-wash find it burdensome (※4).

Therefore, we are launching "CHARMY Krista Pre-wash Foaming Spray" as a new habit that completes the troublesome pre-wash process with a simple spray, allowing the foamy dishes to be placed directly into the dishwasher.

Simply spray on dish stains and place them directly into the dishwasher! No scrubbing or rinsing is needed, making the troublesome pre-wash process easy.
