LITALICO Officially Releases "LITALICO Kenshin Software" to Support Municipal 5-Year-Old Health Checkups

LITALICO Inc. officially released "LITALICO Kenshin Software" in June 2026, a service designed to support municipalities in conducting health checkups for 5-year-olds.

"LITALICO Kenshin Software" is a comprehensive service that supports the online administration of pre-checkup questionnaires for 5-year-old health checkups, automatic aggregation and analysis of responses, and the generation of reports usable on the day of the checkup and for follow-up afterwards. It aims to reduce the burden of aggregation and analysis tasks for municipal staff and to establish a system that can connect children and families needing support with appropriate assistance more quickly. In conjunction with the official release, an online product briefing session will be held on July 15, 2026 (Wed).

Overview of LITALICO Kenshin Software

Health checkups for 5-year-olds are an important opportunity to understand the developmental and daily life status of pre-school children and to connect them with consultation and support as needed. On the other hand, municipal sites face numerous tasks, including distributing and collecting pre-checkup questionnaires, confirming responses, aggregating data, analyzing it to determine the need for support, and preparing materials for the checkup day.

In particular, operations that assume paper questionnaires and manual data aggregation can place a heavy burden on staff, and it may take time to organize information for follow-up after the checkup.

LITALICO developed LITALICO Kenshin Software as a support tool for conducting 5-year-old health checkups through a demonstration project with Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, in fiscal year 2025 (reference).

Automatic Aggregation and Analysis of Online Questionnaires

Systematizes pre-checkup questionnaires for guardians, reducing preparation burden for municipalities.

With LITALICO Kenshin Software, guardians can respond to pre-checkup questionnaires online from their smartphones or PCs. Once completed, municipal staff can immediately review the results. This reduces the work of collecting paper questionnaires and manually entering and aggregating data, thereby easing the burden of preparation before the checkup.

Information from kindergartens, useful for understanding group behavior, can also be obtained online.

Pre-checkup questionnaires can also be administered to kindergarten teachers. The design facilitates understanding of children's situations not only at home but also in group settings and daily life at kindergarten.

Automated Aggregation and Analysis

Based on the questionnaire standards developed by LITALICO, responses are analyzed and judged automatically, with results output in real-time. This helps identify cases that may require support or further confirmation, assisting in the organization of information for interviews on the day of the checkup, as well as subsequent consultations and support. It can also be used as reference information for screening when implementing a two-stage process.

Aggregated and analyzed results can be output as reports that are easy to use on the day of the checkup. This allows municipal staff, doctors, public health nurses, and other checkup staff to understand the child's condition based on the pre-checkup questionnaire and to conduct necessary confirmations and consultations more easily, even within the limited time of the checkup.

Report for Guardians

Result reports for guardians can also be generated. The reports display specific advice for children's difficulties, supervised by developmental specialists. By providing information that serves as a trigger for easy-to-implement approaches at home after the checkup and for consultations as needed, the aim is to connect the checkup to ongoing support, rather than it being a one-time confirmation.

The session will showcase the online questionnaire flow, the aggregation and analysis screens for response results, and the content of reports usable on the checkup day and for follow-up, using actual screen images.
