[Loft] 'Shimonoseki Loft' to open on the 1st floor of Yume City on Friday, June 19!

Loft Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Motoki Ando) will open 'Shimonoseki Loft' on the first floor of the main building of 'Yume City' (Izumi Co., Ltd.; Ikurashinmachi, Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture) on Friday, June 19, 2026. This marks the company's first store in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Since its opening in 2009, 'Yume City' has been one of the largest commercial facilities in the area, serving as a roadside shopping destination along Prefectural Road 259 for over 16 years. Due to its excellent accessibility, it attracts customers not only from across Shimonoseki City but also from a wider region, and is expected to remain a stable market. 'Shimonoseki Loft' will join 'Yume City' as a new attraction, offering the people of Yamaguchi and Shimonoseki new lifestyle proposals through seasonal goods with Loft's unique selection. To commemorate the first store opening in Yamaguchi, the company will sell stationery and mini tote bags featuring designs of local Shimonoseki specialties and conduct a purchase campaign. The sales floor area is approximately 243 tsubo (approx. 802 sqm), which is the standard store size most frequently deployed by Loft. With the latest layout that makes it easy to shop on a single floor, the store will offer a total of approximately 18,100 items, including stationery (8,500 types), health goods (6,000 types), variety goods (2,600 types), and lifestyle goods (1,000 types), featuring both seasonal and staple products.
