The 12th installment of the popular series "Wakon X," featuring Living National Treasure Kin'ya Hōshō and others, will be held on July 18 (Sat)!

The TTR Noh Project's planned performance "Wakon XII: Watching the Waki!" will be held on July 18, 2026 (Sat) at the Minatogawa Shrine Shin'nō-den (3-1-1 Tamon-dori, Chuo-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture).

The popular series "Wakon X" presents a three-school performance comparing Waki schools: "Shimogyo Hōshō-ryū," "Hōkō-ryū," and "Kōan-ryū." This event features three prominent Waki performers: Living National Treasure Kin'ya Hōshō, Chito Hōkō, and Ryōichi Arimatsu. It's a unique program where you can enjoy the same play performed by different schools, presented in an engaging way with interviews. The play "Chōryō," which can be considered a Noh play where the Waki is the protagonist, will be performed by actors with both skill and popularity from these schools!
