Veit Hertenstein, an internationally active violist, chamber musician, and educator, will make his appearance at the Nikkei Muse Salon. His performances have received high praise from critics worldwide, described as 'astonishing precision, dedicated musicianship, and powerful musical expression' (Augsburger Allgemeine) and 'an amber-hued, honey-like tone' (Boston Musical Intelligencer).

For this recital, Hertenstein welcomes pianist Fuyuka Kusa, a trusted collaborator with deep expertise in viola repertoire, to deliver a rich and expressive program. Together, they will 'sing' the melodies of Brahms and 'narrate' the story of 'Romeo and Juliet' through the warm, resonant timbre of the viola.
