The entertainment troupe Himitsu Heiki (Directed by Arihiro Iwata) will present 'Don Den -I'm in a Period of Reflection-' at Shimokitazawa 'Gekko' Theater (2-6-6 Kitazawa, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo) from Wednesday, August 26 to Sunday, August 30, 2026.

Himitsu Heiki, an entertainment group led by Arihiro Iwata, Kazuhiro Igarashi, Kaisei Shinsan, Fumitaro Miura, Hirofumi Noda, and Keigo Morimoto, has been staging annual summer performances in Shimokitazawa, the mecca of theater. In the summer of 2026, they celebrate their 25th anniversary with a new production: 'Don Den -I'm in a Period of Reflection-'. The show captivates audiences with intricately crafted, humorous omnibus-style comedy sketches (short skits), which then serve as foreshadowing for a full-cast, full-length main story. This structure—delivering emotional payoffs only to subvert expectations—has evolved into an artistic, supercharged performance. With a repeat audience rate exceeding 25%, it has become a summer entertainment phenomenon that leaves viewers addicted after just one viewing.
For this milestone 25th-anniversary production, Kaisei Shinsan and Aino Kawamura will co-star as dual leads.
The cast also includes core Himitsu Heiki members Iwata, Igarashi, Miura, and Noda, alongside guest performers: Uchuu Imaizumi (founder of 'Yoiyaminabe'), Takuro Okitsu (regular on tvk's 'Neko no Hitai hodo Wide NEO'), Mao Yuki (former member of Up Up Girls (2)), and the uniquely talented Mitsu Fujiki and YUNA (from Neo Age).
