Spring Shodoshima Study Abroad Report: Children Discover the 'Origins of Living'

Loohcs High School (operated by Loohcs Inc.) held the 'Shodoshima Study Abroad' program from March 26 to 28, 2026, in Shodoshima, Kagawa Prefecture. Elementary students from grades 2 to 6 participated in this 3-day program designed to help them feel the essence of living through nature and local industries. Activities included learning about 'Olive Beef,' harvesting vegetables from local farms, and preparing dinner together. A key feature was the mentorship by Loohcs high school students, which fostered growth for both the children and the mentors. Parents praised the program for providing a deep connection to the real world rather than typical sightseeing.
