On June 1, 2026, Lotte, Imabari City, and the Imabari City Dental Association signed a partnership agreement to promote oral and dental health. This is Lotte's 28th oral health agreement. Under the agreement, the three parties will collaborate to improve the oral environment of Imabari citizens. Key contents include support for city-led oral health projects, promoting awareness of the importance of chewing, education on maintaining oral functions, and providing disaster relief supplies like xylitol gums and tablets to support evacuees. Lotte will utilize its expertise in chewing and xylitol, built since 1948, to contribute to the city. At the signing ceremony at Imabari City Hall, representatives Imabari Mayor Shigeki Tokunaga, Dental Association President Toshio Ooka, and Lotte Shikoku Branch Manager Hiroshi Kajikawa committed to addressing oral frailty across all age groups, using Lotte's unique strengths.
