Forward Joins "AI Interview & Assessment Consortium (AIAC)"

Forward Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kohei Nagoya; hereinafter "Forward"), which provides the recruitment support service "Ace Job" utilizing generative AI with the mission to "Unleash talent worldwide," is pleased to announce its recent membership in the "AI Interview & Assessment Consortium" (Abbreviation: AIAC).

Forward endorses the philosophy of AIAC, which aims to "deepen social understanding of AI-powered recruitment interviews and personnel evaluations" and "promote the appropriate use and sound social implementation of AI interviews." As a member, we will contribute to improving the credibility of the entire industry.

◾️About AIAC

AIAC (AI Interview & Assessment Consortium) is an industry organization aimed at the sound dissemination and establishment of social trust in recruitment interview and personnel evaluation services that utilize AI. It was established in April 2025 with the objective of exchanging information and collaborating among businesses, and exchanging opinions with administrative bodies regarding recruitment interviews and personnel evaluations using AI technology.

In recent years, AI-related laws, regulations, and guidelines have been developed both domestically and internationally. In Japan, businesses are required to take voluntary initiatives through measures such as the so-called AI Act (Act on the Promotion of Research and Development and Utilization of Artificial Intelligence Related Technologies) and the "AI Business Operator Guidelines (Version 1.2)" formulated and published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Against the backdrop of a worsening labor shortage, interest in AI-powered recruitment and personnel evaluation is increasing. However, to improve social understanding and trust, it was recognized that the establishment of common rules and dialogue with society are necessary, leading to its establishment.

◾️Background and Objectives of Membership

With the mission of "Unleash talent worldwide," Forward has supported companies in their recruitment activities by forming a candidate pool, assessing candidates, and designing the selection experience through its recruitment support service "Ace Job," which utilizes generative AI.

Forward believes that when implementing AI in recruitment and personnel evaluation, trust from both users and candidates, as well as social understanding, are indispensable, in addition to service convenience and results. By participating in information exchange and knowledge sharing within the industry through our membership in AIAC, we aim to strengthen the appropriate operational framework of our own services, cooperate in the creation of common rules and the development of guidelines for AI utilization, and contribute to the sound development of the entire industry.
