The birthday-exclusive Chiikawa bread is a gentle and heartwarming bread made with a labor-intensive combination of custard cream and almond nuts. The Hachiware bread is filled with chocolate cream and chocolate chips, spreading sweetness throughout the mouth. Both feature a cute visual highlighted by a birthday party hat and ribbon.

In addition, highly photogenic birthday drinks containing sparkling aurora powder and special bonuses will be available.

Furthermore, as a special project starting Friday, May 1 for a limited time, voluminous and luxurious Chiikawa bread perfect for small party menus, as well as tea tins and gift drawstrings ideal for gifts, will also make an appearance.

What is 'Chiikawa'? A manga work originating on X, drawn by illustrator Nagano. It's a fun, slightly sad, and somewhat hard daily story featuring the always hard-working Chiikawa and friends with rich personalities like Hachiware and Usagi. It has expanded widely into merchandise, collaboration cafes, and corporate collaborations. The book 'Chiikawa: Something Small and Cute' has been published up to volume 8 by Kodansha. Also, since April 2022, the TV anime 'Chiikawa' has been broadcasting on 'Mezamashi TV' (Fuji TV network). The movie 'Movie Chiikawa: Secret of the Mermaid Island' is scheduled for release on Friday, July 24, 2026.
