Teruyuki Omote, President and CEO of LUMINE Co., Ltd., was honored with the "Preuve de Do" award at "CANNES GALA 2026," an official ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival. "CANNES GALA" is an invitation-only international ceremony that recognizes individuals and organizations supporting the next generation of the content industry, including film, technology, business, and the arts. This award recognizes Mr. Omote's efforts in promoting Japanese cultural values globally and his commitment to urban development and future-building. Mr. Omote was one of six awardees selected from around the world. The title "Preuve de Do," derived from the Japanese word "Do" (Way), is a cultural honor bestowed upon those who contribute significantly to the content industry for the next 100 years. LUMINE plans to continue promoting Japanese culture and sensibility both domestically and internationally through initiatives such as the "tokyo sense" pop-up store scheduled for Paris.
