Luvina Software Holds First Internal Hackathon 'LUVINA AI ITERATIVE LOOP HACKATHON 2026'

Luvina Software Joint Stock Company (Luvina Software) held its internal hackathon event, 'LUVINA AI ITERATIVE LOOP HACKATHON 2026,' starting in March 2026, with the final round taking place at the Hanoi office on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

The event focused on next-generation software development using generative AI, aiming to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across departments and branches. It provided employees with an opportunity to engage with and practically apply the latest technologies.

Over 17 teams from Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City entered the competition. Engineers and employees with diverse expertise participated, working through idea creation, implementation, and presentation to explore new development approaches utilizing generative AI.

Background

In recent years, the rapid evolution of generative AI has brought software development to a major turning point. The era now demands more essential thinking and proposal capabilities, going beyond simple implementation to include problem setting, architecture design, and building continuous improvement cycles using AI.

In response to these changes, Luvina Software planned and held this hackathon as a space to practically experience the 'Iterative Loop' concept—repeated continuous improvement using generative AI—and to deepen learning that leads to actual project success and customer value creation.

The event theme, 'REDEFINE HOW WE BUILD SOFTWARE,' encouraged participants to challenge themselves to adopt new development styles based on generative AI.

Part 1: Implementation Phase Teams consistently executed tasks from requirement organization to solution design, implementation, and verification.

Part 2: Presentation Phase Presentations went beyond technical demos, focusing on real business issues and customer value proposals.

Part 3: Results Announcement and Awards Ceremony The ceremony honored the efforts and achievements of all teams, presenting awards including First Prize, Excellence Award, and Third Prize, along with special awards for knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
