In recent years, ransomware has evolved beyond simple encryption to malicious tactics that prioritize destroying backups to neutralize recovery methods. As a result, the situation where 'backups exist but cannot be restored' is no longer an unexpected event but a 'real threat.' Against this backdrop, the importance of 'immutable backup data' is rapidly increasing. Beyond BCP/DR requirements, there is a demand for maintaining data that can be reliably restored to comply with the Supply Chain Security Evaluation (SCSE) promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. What is required of sales partners is no longer just product introductions; they need the ability to propose 'effective backup operations' that balance 'recoverability' and 'operability' while meeting institutional and regulatory requirements. In this seminar, we will explain how to smoothly proceed from proposal to implementation, focusing on CRS (Cyber Resilient Storage) to achieve immutable backups in the shortest time. We will also introduce the CRS Appliance, which went on sale on April 1, from the perspective of how to absorb issues such as sizing and configuration selection that often increase the burden of individual construction.
