Founded in 1862 in Switzerland as a rope manufacturer, Mammut has built over 160 years of history. By continuously creating innovative outdoor apparel and gear, we have provided our customers with the 'ultimate experience.'
Under our brand slogan 'Rise with the Mountain – Challenge is Life,' we support people who grow through challenges by offering high-performance products and proposing new concepts.
Mammut will support the 'Japan Mountain Endurance Race (within 24 hours) – Tsuneo Hasegawa Cup' (commonly known as the Hasetsune Cup), a trail running event held on October 11 (Sunday) and 12 (Monday, national holiday), 2026, in the rich nature of Okutama, Tokyo, as the official main partner.
On this occasion, Mammut will run a promotional campaign to support the Hasetsune Cup. At Mammut directly managed stores, we will display in-store POPs saying 'Let's cheer for the Hasetsune Cup!' At the Mammut booth within the event venue, we will distribute original cheering flags to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis, and hold rental and trial sessions for new trail running shoes. Furthermore, we will sell event-limited T-shirts in a new design, which sold out on the first day last year. We will prepare content that can be enjoyed not only by runners but also by their families and friends who come to cheer, and we will liven up the event.
Additionally, the Hasetsune Cup will be exhibited as one of Mammut's seven key initiatives for this fall and winter at Mammut's first large-scale exhibition event, 'Mammut Innovation 2026,' to be held at Mammut Shinjuku from October 1 (Thursday) to 4 (Sunday).

[Mammut's Commitment to Trail Running] Since its founding in 1862, Mammut has continued to support people's challenges through outdoor sports, based on the safety and innovative technology cultivated in the Alps. Under the brand slogan 'Rise with the Mountain – Challenge is Life,' trail running is one of the activities that Mammut engages in as a sport that symbolizes this philosophy. The experience of challenging harsh natural environments and surpassing one's own limits is the very value that Mammut cherishes.
The Hasetsune Cup is an event set in the rich nature of Okutama, where participants challenge their own limits while aiming to promote nature conservation, safety awareness, and lifelong sports. Mammut deeply sympathizes with these ideals and supports the event as the official main partner.
We will also support the creation of an environment where athletes can challenge themselves safely, and contribute to the promotion of understanding of nature conservation activities and awareness-raising activities to pass on the precious natural environment of Okutama to the future. Mammut will continue to support all challenging runners while respecting nature, and support safer and more fulfilling trail running experiences.
