Two new monuments (bench art) were installed this spring on the 'Ishinomaki Manga Road' in the central urban area of Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture. The new additions are 'Chikkun Takkun & Dr. Bell' and 'Kamen Rider Amazon.' Bench art is a new form of monument that integrates a bench with a character sculpture, serving as an interactive spot where you can take commemorative photos with the characters and actually sit down to take a break.

★ Aka Ranger Monument Returns After 8 Years!! On March 20, 2026, in conjunction with the reopening of the Ishinomori Mangattan Museum, the Aka Ranger monument returned to Ishinomaki Manga Road after about 8 years. The Aka Ranger monument first appeared on the Manga Road in 2009 and was located opposite 'Ai Plaza Ishinomaki' on Tate-machi Street. It was temporarily removed due to the demolition of the old Ishinomaki Chamber of Commerce building, but now its heroic figure has reappeared.
