MarkLines Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Makoto Sakai; http://www.marklines.com/) has compiled the 2025 Supplier Sales Ranking (comparing automotive business sales of each company converted to US dollars, including some estimates). The top 5 companies were Bosch, Denso, CATL, Hyundai Mobis, and Magna, in that order.
In fiscal year 2025, the presence of Chinese companies increased. CATL entered the top 3 with a significant increase in sales volume of automotive drive batteries. Weichai Power and Huayu Automotive Systems also saw their rankings rise, with sales growing by more than 10% year-on-year.
Rankings also showed notable fluctuations due to M&A and business restructuring. Movements to restructure businesses through integration, acquisitions, and spin-offs were observed from companies such as Schaeffler, Aumovio, and Samvardhana Motherson Group.
