[MATE.BIKE] POPUP Event to be Held for Two Days at 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI!

MATE.BIKE, an e-BIKE brand from Copenhagen, Denmark, will hold a two-day pop-up event at 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI on July 19 (Sun) and 20 (Mon, holiday), 2026.

8HOTEL is a hotel with two locations in Shonan and Chigasaki, based on the concept, "If there were 8 days in a week, what kind of inspiration would people find there?" This event will be a fusion of 8HOTEL's imagination and MATE.BIKE's brand legacy.

POPUP in 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI

Date & Time: July 19 (Sun) - 20 (Mon, holiday), 2026, 11:00 - 17:00

Venue: 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI (18-35 Saiwai-cho, Chigasaki-shi, Kanagawa 253-0052)

A test ride event for MATE.BIKE will be held in the entrance space of 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI. You can freely experience the next-generation mobility in the nearby beaches and around Chigasaki town. All participants who test ride will receive an original sticker set as a gift.

MATE. PARTY in 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI

Date & Time: July 20 (Mon, holiday), 2026, 12:00 - 14:30

Venue: 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI (18-35 Saiwai-cho, Chigasaki-shi, Kanagawa 253-0052)

Fee: Free participation

A reception party to commemorate the pop-up event will be held by the iconic poolside of 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI. On the day, we will offer food and drinks that evoke Denmark, and a photoshoot session by a photographer will also be held. The photos taken will be delivered digitally on the spot.

Anyone can participate, so please come and join us with your friends and family.

MATE.BIKE Rental Cycle

Period: July 21 (Tue) - September 30 (Wed), 2026

Target: Guests staying at 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI

Fee: 1,000 yen / 3 hours~

A rental cycle exclusively for hotel guests will be available, featuring all MATE.BIKE models, including the signature model "MATE X EVO."

Guests who complete a survey at the front desk will receive a 500 yen off coupon for rental cycle use.
