MCD Three Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Masao Iida) has added a Single Sign-On (SSO) (Note 1) function to "My Green Site," a smartphone application for skilled workers.

This enables direct use of "Work Site," a service that digitizes construction site management and coordination operations, from the "My Green Site" app. Site supervisors (Note 2) can start using "Work Site" immediately with a single tap, without the hassle of ID issuance or site selection.

Three Points That Make "Work Site" Easier to Use

Ready to Use with One Tap Log in to "Work Site" with a single tap from the "My Green Site" app. The need to enter IDs and passwords is eliminated, allowing site supervisors to use "Work Site" stress-free on site.

No Need for Site Supervisor ID Issuance Procedures Previously, using "Work Site" required a procedure to issue IDs for site supervisors. With this new function, an ID is automatically issued simply by downloading and starting to use the "My Green Site" app. The procedure to start using "Work Site" is significantly simplified.

Site Information Linked Seamlessly Site information displayed in "My Green Site" is directly linked to "Work Site," allowing site supervisors and skilled workers to start their work on "Work Site" without the operation of selecting a site. They can smoothly engage in digitizing site operations, such as registering work content and recording participation in KY (Risk Prediction) activities (Note 3).

Future Outlook

MCD Three aims to foster "My Green Site" as a tool for daily use on construction sites, simplifying site ID and password management and contributing to operational efficiency. Starting with this SSO integration with "Work Site," the company plans to expand collaborations with other companies' services, aiming to realize an environment where various IT tools can be easily accessed with a single ID.

Note 1: Single Sign-On (SSO): An authentication mechanism that allows access to multiple different services and systems with a single login operation.

Note 2: Site Supervisor: A site manager directly responsible for commanding and supervising workers at a construction site. Appointed by the employer based on the Industrial Safety and Health Act.

Note 3: KY (Risk Prediction) Activity: A safety activity conducted before starting work, where workers identify potential hazards for the day's work and confirm/share countermeasures. It is a fundamental safety management technique routinely implemented on construction sites.
