Media Fusion to Release "CabineX Forms+" in Fall 2026, Enabling Business Form Operations Difficult with Microsoft Forms Using Excel Online

Media Fusion Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture) announced that it plans to release "CabineX Forms+", an application for form input and output that enables business form operations, including post-submission revisions and rejections, which are difficult with Microsoft Forms, by utilizing existing Excel forms on Microsoft 365, in Fall 2026.

●Background

Many companies and organizations that have introduced Microsoft 365 often start by using Microsoft Forms for electronic processing of applications, notifications, and surveys. However, as operations progress with form-based tasks such as applications, notifications, and reports, the following requests tend to increase:

We want to use existing Excel form layouts as they are, rather than web forms.

We want to input data into forms that reflect existing data linked to users, such as user information, organizational information, and performance data.

We want to revise and resubmit submitted forms as needed.

We want to support rejections by administrators and cancellations/resubmissions by users.

We want to display forms on Excel Online and print or output them as PDFs as needed.

When such requests arise, many organizations consider custom development using Power Apps. On the other hand, developing custom apps solely for form operations often leads to significant costs, time, and maintenance burdens. CabineX Forms+ is a product for operating business forms on Microsoft 365 that are difficult to handle with Microsoft Forms and not substantial enough to warrant custom development with Power Apps.

With CabineX Forms+, administrators register form templates, and users input and submit them on Excel Online. After submission, administrators review, reject, and manage the forms in a list.
