Nishinippon Shimbun Media Lab Co., Ltd. (Fukuoka City, President Shinya Kiyota) announced that 'My Time,' a young carer awareness video produced for Fukuoka Prefecture, won the Grand Prize in the Film Advertising Long Form Category at the 65th Fukuoka Advertising Association Awards. The award recognizes outstanding advertising produced in Kyushu, Okinawa, and Yamaguchi. The video depicts the struggles of young carers who balance chores and family care, using the motifs of 'time' and 'puzzles' to visually express their conflicts and prompt viewers to think. Nishinippon Shimbun Media Lab handled the entire creative process, including planning, video production, editing, and graphic design. Co-producers include Nishinippon Shimbun, SUBTRACT, SPH Video Jam, and UPTOO. The Fukuoka Advertising Association Awards evaluate works based on their capacity to give hope, social understanding, empathy, clarity of purpose, uniqueness of ideas, and quality of expression and technique. Director Yuki Shiramizu commented that the video was designed to encourage adults to consider what they can do to support these children, hoping to spark meaningful discussions and bring hope for their future.
