Megane Top Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture; President: Masahiro Tomizawa), which operates the "Megane Ichiba" chain nationwide, will release "Laboro," a collaborative line of sunglasses, on Friday, March 27, 2026. The collection was developed in partnership with "Oggi" (Shogakukan), a magazine offering simple and stylish basic fashion for working women in their 30s, as well as hair and makeup artist Kaori Nagai and stylist Chika Watanabe. The products will be available at Megane Ichiba stores nationwide and on the official website (https://www.meganeichiba.jp).

Sunglasses that blend naturally into commute styles

These new sunglasses were designed to be easily incorporated into daily life as a way to protect against UV rays and glare during commutes. The frames are designed to the same size as standard eyeglasses, and the lenses feature a light tint that allows the eyes to be seen, reducing the heavy, imposing impression often associated with sunglasses.

The frames feature a Wellington shape that is easy to match with any scene. The lineup includes two types: a trendy, thicker model (Lab-1001/Lab-1002) and a basic, easy-to-wear thinner model (Lab-1003/Lab-1004).
