IMMERSIVE JOURNEY Nagoya to Launch Second VR Experience, "Tonight with the Impressionists," on July 15

Meitetsu Impress Co., Ltd. (HQ: Nagoya, Aichi; CEO: Kohei Kawamoto) and CinemaLeap Inc. (HQ: Shinagawa, Tokyo; CEO: Tetsuya Ohashi), joint operators of the large-scale VR facility "IMMERSIVE JOURNEY Nagoya," will release their second work, "Tonight with the Impressionists Paris 1874," on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. This follows their first work, "The Horizon of Khufu." Advance ticket sales will begin on the official website on Friday, June 19, 2026. The first work, a journey back 4,500 years to ancient Egypt, will continue to be available.

About "Tonight with the Impressionists Paris 1874" This XR film was co-produced by the world-renowned Musée d'Orsay in France, along with French XR studios Excurio and GEDEON Experiences. It premiered in Paris on March 26, 2024. The program allows visitors to re-experience the passion and creative journey of masters like Monet and Renoir, set during the first Impressionist exhibition in 1874 Paris, using the latest immersive technology. The cast includes famous voice actors such as Yuki Kaji (as Claude Monet), Daisuke Namikawa (as Paul Cézanne), and Takehito Koyasu (as Edgar Degas) to create a deeply immersive experience.

About "IMMERSIVE JOURNEY Nagoya" Opened in January 2026, this is the second large-scale VR facility in Japan after Yokohama. Visitors wear a head-mounted display and can freely walk around a vast space, providing an immersive journey into another world. Groups of up to four people can experience the content simultaneously.
