This new product is part of the Pocket Mell-chan series, which celebrates its 5th anniversary this year.

The "Pocket Mell-chan" series was born from the desire to "allow children to play with Mell-chan for a longer time" as children grow and their play shifts from caregiving to pretend play. With the concept of "Always, Anywhere, Together♡," it's a series that can be enjoyed not only at home or in the bath, but also by talking to the dolls during short breaks on outings or taking photos together while traveling. It's designed for children who have enjoyed the traditional Mell-chan series as well as those purchasing a doll for the first time.

◆"Pocket Mell-chan" Series

"Pocket Mell-chan" is a palm-sized series launched in September 2021, featuring dolls that can be played with anytime, anywhere. Similar to the traditional Mell-chan series, it uses Pilot Corporation's proprietary Metamo Hair, which changes color with ice water (15°C or below). You can enjoy original hairstyles by changing the entire hair color or creating patterns on parts of the hair. Not only can you play with them in your room or bath, but their small size allows you to carry them in your pocket or bag and take them outside to play together.
