[2026 Human Resource Utilization x AI Operations Survey] 'Japan AIOperations Report 2026 Spring' Research Report Released for Free

Mer Inc., a company that designs and builds AI-premised operational structures (AI Operations), has released the free "Japan AIOperations Report 2026 Spring," which investigates the actual conditions of human resource utilization and AI Operations in Japanese companies. The report comprehensively surveyed 546 managers and staff involved in business processes and personnel management at companies with 100 or more employees. It reveals a contradiction: while direct investment in people, such as reviewing salaries (49.8%), ranks high as a measure to secure talent, only 19.8% of companies can visualize per-employee productivity. Furthermore, 64.9% of companies have over half of their operations dependent on specific individuals, and 62.8% require more than three months to get a successor up to speed. The report deciphers the structure of the labor shortage that "increasing people" cannot solve and presents a roadmap for transitioning to a "reproducible operational structure" that maximizes the capabilities of the current workforce.
