The Tokyo Metropolitan Government provides authentic work experience opportunities tailored to the needs of students through the 'TOKYO Student Work Experience Site Job EX,' which matches students desiring work experience with corporations and organizations based on policy proposals from students.

Accordingly, we are recruiting students for work experience during the 2026 summer vacation and 'Student Reporters' to write and disseminate articles about their experiences on the 'Job EX' website.

1. Recruitment of Work Experience Participants (1) Eligibility: Students of junior high or high school age residing or attending school in Tokyo (born between April 2, 2008, and April 1, 2014). (2) Application Period: From Monday, May 25, 2026, to Sunday, July 5, 2026. (3) Participating Companies/Organizations: 82 companies and organizations across a wide range of industries, from large corporations to startups. (4) Number of Participants: Approximately 820. (5) Location: Activity bases (head offices or business sites, etc.) of companies/organizations within or near Tokyo. (6) Program Content: The work experience program includes company overviews, practical work, proposals on corporate business or regional/social issues, and experiences balancing work and childcare (interactions with employees raising children, etc.). (8) Selection: If applications exceed the capacity for each program, participants will be determined by lottery.

2. Recruitment of 'Student Reporters' As part of this initiative, we are also recruiting 'Student Reporters' who will participate in work experience programs conducted by companies and organizations, conduct interviews with management and staff, and publish articles from a student perspective on the 'Job EX' website.

(1) Application Period: From Monday, May 25, 2026, to Wednesday, June 17, 2026. (2) Participating Companies/Organizations for Reporters: 6 companies/organizations. (3) Number of Reporters: Approximately 18 (students of junior high or high school age residing or attending school in Tokyo). (4) Activities: - Pre-workshop (In-person on Saturday, July 18). - Participation in work experience and reporting (Schedule varies). - Article creation workshop (In-person on Sunday, August 30). - Article creation (Expected to be done individually from September onwards and submitted via email, etc.).
