(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Ryuzo Kikuchi), which supports "business creation" and "organizational change" for mature companies, will hold a real event "Co-Hatching Day 2026 Summer - A Day Where Challenges and Support Intersect to Open Unknown Doors -" for practitioners tackling business creation and organizational transformation beyond organizational boundaries, on July 31, 2026 (Fri) at DNP Plaza 2F Collaboration Zone (Ichigaya, Tokyo).

This fifth installment will be held under the theme "Our New Value Creation Challenging Through Division -- Transforming 'Division' into 'Co-creation' and Building Organizations That Embrace Transformation Challenges." We will welcome Hideaki Hatanaka, General Manager of the Future Business Creation Department and General Manager of the Group Sustainability Promotion Department at Nihon Yamamura Glass Co., Ltd., and Hiroshi Iwamoto, Leader of the Collaboration Promotion Group, Collaboration Strategy Office, Corporate Communications Division at Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd., to hear about their experiences in value creation and organizational transformation from their respective positions.

We will discuss with the participants the clues to evolving into an organization that creates new value by transforming various "divisions," such as inter-departmental barriers and the gap between management and the front lines, into "co-creation," while confronting the constraints and conflicts unique to mature companies, based on the practical knowledge accumulated on the front lines.

Background of the Event

In this era of rapid change, few would question the importance of creating new value in mature companies. However, when attempting to move towards transformation or co-creation, we hear voices from those facing various "divisions," such as "even though it's the same company, we feel a thick wall as if it were another company," or "management's intentions and vision are not effectively connected to the enthusiasm of the front lines." These include inter-departmental barriers, gaps between management and the front lines, and organizational cultures of precedent adherence and complacency.

What is important for evolving into an "organization that creates new value" while confronting these constraints unique to mature companies?
