'Zero Vehicles Without Air Conditioning': Mikasa Seisakusho Expands Cooling Technology from Golf Carts to Industrial Vehicles

Mikasa Seisakusho Co., Ltd. is launching a full-scale expansion of its cooling technology, originally developed for golf carts, into the industrial vehicle sector, including forklifts and towing trailers. In Japan, working in vehicles without air conditioning is common in logistics and factories, making heatstroke prevention a critical management issue. The company has completed a prototype for towing trailers, featuring a lithium iron phosphate battery capable of up to 8 hours of operation. Leveraging expertise from projects with the Dubai Police, the company plans to offer these solutions through subscription models to lower initial investment costs.
