The Association of Japanese Private Railways, JR Hokkaido, JR East, JR Central, JR West, JR Shikoku, JR Kyushu, Sapporo City Subway, Tokyo Metro, Yokohama City Subway, Nagoya City Subway, Fukuoka City Subway, New Shuttle, Hokuso Railway, Tokyo Monorail, Yurikamome, Tama Monorail, Tokyo Rinkai Kosoku Railway, Yokohama Seaside Line,
Aichi Loop Line, Nagoya Rinkai Kosoku Railway, and Osaka Metro have jointly produced a violence prevention poster titled "NO! Violence - A Fist for Others, a Zero for Your Life!" which will be displayed in the stations and trains of each railway operator starting July 10 (Fri), 2026.
This initiative calls for the prevention of violence against railway staff, such as station attendants and train crew, as well as violence arising from disputes between passengers, through the coordinated efforts of each railway operator. The aim is to reduce the number of violent incidents and create an environment where customers can use railways more safely and with peace of mind.
The poster production has received support from the National Police Agency and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

Key Message of the Poster:
The design features an illustration of a person with handcuffs in the background, intended to evoke the future that awaits those who resort to violence, making them recognize the risks and regrets involved. The message urges people to stop and reconsider in the crucial moment before violence erupts. This message is conveyed to a wide range of generations, calling for the prevention of violence from everyone who uses stations and railways.
