JR Kyoto Isetan will hold "think good ~Connecting Kyoto, Continuing to Tomorrow~," an event introducing environmentally friendly products and services, and culture rooted in the region, starting from Wednesday, April 8th. In the city of Kyoto, inherited skills, culture, and wisdom for living with nature quietly breathe. This event will focus on brands and bearers of traditional culture that are undertaking sustainable initiatives in Kyoto and various other regions, introducing their appeal through products and experiences. By showcasing initiatives that will be passed down to the next generation, such as those by young farmers and successors of long-established businesses, the event aims to convey hints for a sustainable future found in everyday life.

In the agricultural sector, which faces challenges such as an aging population and a lack of successors, "SHIKI FARMERS CLUB," a community where young farmers from across Japan gather to promote the appeal of agriculture as a culture, will make its first appearance. They will introduce the initiatives of farmers active in Kyoto and the surrounding areas, and also offer event-exclusive collaboration products.
